ACCOMPLISHMENTS
We are excited to share some recent successes throughout several states:
2022
New Jersey : Permanently increased the Personal Care Assistant (PCA) reimbursement rate by $2 per hour. Successfully secured an additional $1 per hour increase through March 2024 for COVID relief.
New Jersey : Permanently increased the Private Duty Nursing (PDN) rate by $10 per hour for RNs/LPNs.
Rhode Island : Increased 2021 reimbursement by 3.4% through a cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) and temporarily increased Long Term Services and Supports rates by 63% by way of COVID relief through March 2023.
Pennsylvania : Permanently increased the Pediatric Shift Nursing rate by $5 per hour.
Pennsylvania : Permanently increased Personal Assistance Services (PAS) rates by 8%. Secured an additional one-time COVID relief payment for PAS service providers.
Delaware : Permanently increased Private Duty Nursing (PDN) rates for RN & LPN services by 15%. Additionally, obtained one-time CARES Act funding to increase hazard pay for home health care staff.
Indiana : Permanently increased reimbursement rates for RNs by 25% and for LPNs by 13%. Additionally, secured a one-time 6.4% COVID relief funding increase for Medicaid home care services.
Missouri: Permanently increased Private Duty Nursing (PDN) rates by 15.7% for adults and 10% for pediatrics. Temporarily increased reimbursement rates by 5.29% through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
North Carolina : Permanently increased reimbursement rates for the Private Duty Nursing (PDN) program by $5.40 per hour, and further secured a temporary rate increase through the duration of the public health emergency (PHE).
South Carolina: Permanently increased reimbursement rates for Respite Services under three Medicaid programs – Intellectual Disability/Related Disabilities (ID/RD), Community Supports (CS), Head and Spinal Cord Injury (HASCI) by $3.51 per hour.
2021
North Carolina : 5% nursing rate increase and 15% personal care rate increase in three programs
New Jersey : 10% private duty nursing (PDN) rate increase and $2 personal care (home health aide) rate increase
Pennsylvania : 2% personal care rate increase
Maryland : 30% rate increase over a six-year period.
South Carolina : 15% PDN rate increase.
Rhode Island : 25% PDN rate increase and 10% certified nursing assistant (CAN) rate increase
